Although the bleed on to the fabric isn't exactly as sharp as i wanted it the rough edge quality looks quiete good.I did find the printing difficult and now i know why.Black white no problem.White on Black diffuculty in itself.If i do wanna get a sharper image I need to act quickly and use something like speed ball white :opague.Crywank patches to come!

Ernst Heinrich Philipp August Haeckel (1834 – 1919) was a philosopher, professor, physician, naturalist, biologist and artist.Haeckel’s drawings of plants and animals, including almost 4,000 microscopic species of radialarin he discovered out of the known 5000, each were rendered with exquisite precision.
He mapped a entire genealogical tree relating all life forms, and coined many terms in biology, including anthropogeny, ecology, phylum, phylogeny, stem cell, and the kingdom Protista. Haeckel promoted and popularized Charles Darwin's work in Germany and developed the controversial recapitulation theory ("ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny") claiming that an individual organism's biological development, or ontogeny, parallels and summarizes its species' evolutionary development, or phylogeny.

A worth while film to watch most of the footage apart from odd photographs is made entirely by the Haekel or from The Mariner by Samual Coelridge to which the film makes many parralels.He is such an amazing character one of many facets his contribution to the world is truely extraordinary.I can safely say he is one of my favorite artists if not one of my favorite humans from this day forth.I couldn't find an online stream of the documentary but it can be found to lowndoad here

EXUMA is an island in the Bahamas, and it is also the title given to music made by Tony Mckinny.Exuma represents an entity in itself.Given that his name is a place he has tried to encompass cultural understanding in the place in eclectic sense.He presents the story of the struggling artist or creator.Coupled with the idea that this self professed 'Obeah' has mystical forms that he moves through on the album.The track, "Séance in the Sixth Fret," is exactly that; a séance were he calls out the names of three deceased people.The response comes back in synthasized sound constructed or not.He paints a very pretty piture of a modern mystic.
While "Black Mass" is a more lucid track were playing is loose and words are more like prose.It represents well concepts of concious detachmeant from reality that listener is invited to enquire into.The words are mostly prose relfecting conflict in Haitian influenced Voodoo :creation,physical and metaphyisical life and death

I'll never make this mistake again.I set up the screen without thinking and flooded the screen with white without any medium to loosen it up.It dried up very very quickly and thus i have this half printed black cloth.There are some bits like the stone work on the left that turned out really sharp.Given the looseness the quality of the fabric visually its sort of made the bleed more distinive and grany wich really works well with the image more patches to come .

Minnie Evans is the embodiment of the visionary artist. She is an African American painter of Wilmington, N.C., who has created a world of mythical animals, religious symbols and natural beauty. The film explores the sources of Minnie Evans' art--Airlie Garden, with its magnificent azaleas and swans, where Minnie worked as a gate keeper for 27 years and where she did most of her paintings. Scenes of a service in her African-Methodist church draw the connections between her religious fervor and her art. She tells about her mystical visions and traces her slave ancestry to her great grandmother's grandmother who was brought from Trinidad and sold as a slave in North Carolina. We see Minnie with her 101 year old mother and at the Evans' family reunion of six generations. Minnie Evans was 91 years old when this film was made in 1983. She died December 16, 1987 at age 95.

At age 71, Chief Thunder lives in the Nevada desert with his young wife and small children in The Monument, a concrete and stone house he built and decorated with powerful forms and arches. His overwhelming sculptures, "spirits of the living," portray Indian heroes, family, and friends. He created the monument when a voice spoke in a dream, "You are the Big Eagle and the Big Eagle shall return to his nest." His artistry is the testament of a great American folk artist.The film captures the tragedy of his life, his painful isolation, the beauty of his work, and his creative process. Its highlight is a remarkable sequence in which Chief Thunder sculpts a complete piece on camera. Chief Rolling Mountain Thunder was honored as "The Artist of the Year" by the state of Nevada in 1983.
